Doctor, professor and doctoral supervisor of Shanghai Foreign Studies University. He is a member of the Ministry of education's Steering Committee for graduate education of translation majors, executive director of the China Association for comparative studies of English and Chinese, member of the translation theory and Teaching Committee of the China Translation Association, member of the Research Committee on foreign discourse system of the China Translation Association, and editorial board member of Shanghai translation, Guangyi, translation teaching and research, and English world. He has published more than 60 papers in Babel, China translation, foreign languages and foreign language teaching and other academic journals at home and abroad. At present, he has presided over one sub project of national social science fund major bidding project, completed one national social science fund and two provincial social science funds, published six monographs and eight translated works.
