Under the guidance of the State Administration of foreign languages of China and sponsored by the China Translation Association, the 70 year forum on New China's translation cause and the 2019 annual meeting of China Translation Association will be held in Beijing Century Jinyuan hotel from November 9 to 10, 2019. Guided by Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, the conference aims to summarize the brilliant achievements of China's language service and translation industry in the past 70 years, promote the integrity and innovation of translation and language service industry, improve the ability to serve the overall development of the country and the construction of international communication capacity, and build a platform for cooperation and exchange of language services between China and foreign countries.

The language of the paper abstract is Chinese and English, and the submission content includes: Thesis title, abstract, key words (no more than 500 words in Chinese and no more than 300 words in English), author's name, work unit, telephone, email and wechat. The deadline for submission is August 30, 2019.

The Secretariat of the conference will send the evaluation results by email before September 15, 2019, and the authors who have passed the review can speak in the sub forum of the conference. The authors who have passed the evaluation are requested to submit their full Chinese papers (3000-6000 words) before December 1, 2019, and the excellent papers will be recommended to China translation, the Journal of China Translation Association.
