On May 6, the Party branch of the technology center, the evaluation center, the financial media center and the Mozi culture Party branch jointly held a party day with the theme of "never forget the original intention and remember the mission". More than 40 party members and cadres from the Party branch went to Tiananmen national flag guard camp and visited the honor room and soldiers' dormitory of the national flag guard.

    Tiananmen national flag guard is also a patriotic education base, which has been widely concerned by the community. In a not spacious honor room in Tiananmen Gate, the soldiers of the national flag guard introduced the basic situation and glorious history of the national flag guard. The national flag guard is mainly responsible for the national flag raising and lowering, security and commemorative celebrations in Tiananmen Square. Over the past 20 years, this glorious team has excellently completed the sacred mission of raising the "first flag of the Republic" every time, witnessed major historical events of the party and the country, and left a string of shining footprints. At present, the national flag guard of Tian'anmen is composed of 66 officers and soldiers of the honor guard of the three armed forces, who are responsible for raising and lowering the national flag every day.

     Entering the officers and soldiers' dormitory, because it is a 600 year old house, the space is very narrow. A whole row of officers and soldiers sleep in the upper and lower bunks. The water cups are arranged in rows. The quilts are square, simple, neat and standard, which leaves a deep impression on everyone.

  Although the time of exchange was short, the comrades were deeply impressed by the soldiers' political belief in "raising the first flag of the motherland" and their elegant demeanor and firm belief in promoting the prestige of our country and our army. Their lofty spirit of cherishing the motherland and being loyal to their duties greatly inspired our patriotic dedication and enhanced our sense of strict discipline and rules.

    In this theme party day activity, the joint party branch of the China Foreign Affairs Bureau also presented a golden flag to the national flag guard of Tiananmen Square. There are 18 words on the banner, which express the admiration of the party members and cadres of the foreign language and Culture Bureau for all the officers and soldiers of the national flag guard.
